Mum Arrives in 9hrs...

So my Mum arrives in the next 9hrs or so... as long as nothing ELSE goes awry..

So when we ordered her ticket, they told Karen it was an e-ticket which was strange, as we have done this trip a few times and NEVER... NEVER was it not paper tickets... (and we NEVER EVER received any tickets in the mail, as we would have sent them to Mum in Australia... but NOPE didnt get them...)

The thing NO-ONE at either Qantas or American Airlines could figure out is WHY they let her on the plane from the Gold Coast to Sydney then refuse to allow her to enter in Sydney. They say it was because the tickets were in the system as paper not e-ticket... A few frantic calls to my sister, then her to us, Karen got down to business...

Now let me say my wife when she is determined gets something done, but typically she isnt very aggressive about it.. well last night let me just say she got me a little excited.. She took command on the first retard that she contacted at AA, and then demanded someone else get on the phone... then basically took no BS and set em straight, in a calm authoritative way.. Me I was in the kitchen yelling, dont let me get on that phone mate... I will track you down and eat your children yada yada.. (yip yip yip like a little dog acting tough)

Anyways, with a tap of a couple of buttons and a re-charge of our taxes AGAIN, we got it sorted out and Mum was on her way... BUSINESS class mind you...

The kids are excited... they even agreed to take a nap today so they could come with Dad to pick up Nana... lets see how that goes... (Dad wants to sleep during nap time, so they HAVE too ha ah )
